It's a band with a great sense of humour and energy but not only. Their festive ska-rock music is coupled with lyrics generally engaged, sometimes crazy, about the simple things of life and the worlds in which we live...
In 2003, Skarbone 14 recorded a maxi, that was quickly followed by 3 albums in 2005, 2007 and 2009.
« Satellites » was released on November 28th, featuring many friends and artists like Baba Sissoko, a Malian musician, Alex Conventi, keyboard player of Les 100gr de Têtes, and others. More than ska, the band proposes new music styles on this album, like cumbia, merengue or salsa, that enrich nicely the background of ska.
The album was recorded at the Rising Sun studio in Brussels with Rudy Coclet (Arno, Mud Flow, etc.).
